IGNFA is placed directly under the administrative control of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF), Government of India (GOI). It is headed by the Director who is assisted by a team of Additional Director, Professors, Additional Professors, Associate Professors, P.T. & Sports Officer and others.
