Experience Prior to IGNFA
- Served in three forest divisions for a total period of seven years as Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF)
- From December 2016 to August 2018 served as DCF Wildlife Sarahan (with the charge of four wildlife sanctuaries in great-himalayan landscape as well as Western Tragopan Conservation breeding center)
- From August 2018 to February 2023 served as DCF Paonta Sahib and oversaw the restart of silviculture operations in Himachal Pradesh while taking up Sal Silviculture. Hands-on experience of curbing illicit mining and waste-dumping as well as land-restoration
- Worked as DCF Solan from February 2023 to March 2024 and oversaw management of land diversion & muck-dumping issues on national highway as well as forest fire issues of Chir-pine forests.
