The One Week Compulsory Online Training Course on “Best Practices in Forestry” for the In-service Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officers was organized by the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA) from 11th to 15 January, 2021. The Course was sponsored by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India. A total of 32 IFS officers from 18 States/UTs have attended the Course. The objective of the course was to expose the Forest officers to some of the Best Practices and measures adopted in the Forestry and Allied Sectors at National/Global Level to enable them to appropriately customize and adopt it in similar areas of their assignments, besides dissemination of these interventions.
