An extensive experience of working in the State and the Central Governments, in and outside Forest Department
Served as OSD to Chief Secretary of Jharkhand and CCF (Administration); key positions in the State-level coordination.
At Forest Survey of India (FSI), Dehradun handled several RS&GIS Projects and mapped forest types of India for the very first time; and set up the forest fire monitoring system apart from contributing to the biennial India State of Forest Reports (ISFR 2003 to ISFR 2011), and to the Global Forest Resource Assessments (GFRA 2005, 2010).
At Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehradun looked after administration and Statistics & IT Divisions.

Critical analysis of forest resources, ecosystem services valuation, leadership and communication skills, geoinformatics, statistical thinking, public policy in the domain of forestry.
