General Information

The course announcement has been done with the dispatch of letters to the Chief Secretaries along with the nomination of officers for the course.
All the officers nominated for the course are requested to do the on-line registration which is compulsory for the following reasons:
a. To convey confirmation of participation by the concerned officer.
b. To store contact details of the officers in the course database
c. A system has been put in place to send communications to the participants by web based e-mail and SMS service, it will take e-mail IDs and mobile numbers of the officers from the above database only.
Last date for the on-line registration is 22nd March, 2012 i.e. the day for finalizing the list for foreign visit.
After getting the choice of country from the participants through on-line registration, the country of foreign visit will be finalized. If preference for a particular country exceeds the 50% of the strength i.e., 30 numbers, then lottery system would be followed in making the number of officers for each country equal.
Country wise list of officers would then be sent to MoEF for getting political clearance from MEA.
After obtaining the political clearance, the same would be sent to the officers for enabling them to get their official passports issued from their respective Regional Passport Offices.
The course is scheduled from 21st May to 15th June, 2012. The officers would be required to report at IIM Bangalore by 20th May 2012 afternoon as the course inauguration would take place at 5.00 PM on the same day.
