IGNFA New Templates


IGNFA organized 9th Mid-Career Training Programme (Duration 4 weeks)from 7th July 2013 for IFS officers of 26-28 years seniority (1980/1981/1985/1986 YoA), currently serving as Chief Conservator of Forests and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in their respective states. The programme was attended by a total of 53 officers from various states. The programme is being organized in association with Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The Phase V program is focused on developing the officers' understanding of the changing scene for global policy in the field of environment/forestry and its implementation internationally and domestically. Accordingly, the programme has been designed to incorporate exposure to such policy issues. The programme included 'Management Module' in the first week at IIM Bangalore followed by two week study visit to Syracuse University and University of British Columbia. The program was concluded on 27th July, 2013 at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy Dehradun, India.
