INTER SERVICES WORKSHOP ON BEST PRACTICES

"Inter Services Workshop on Best Practices" was organized during 17-21 February 2014 by Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun for Group 'A' officers with 12-14 years of experience belonging to Central & All India Services. The workshop was initiated by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance & Pension, Govt. of India to provide a platform for sharing of experiences of respective services, best practices adopted in policy, procedures and delivery mechanisms and the outstanding work done by the officers of different departments and other sectors. The workshop also involved discussions on common problems affecting civil services and brainstorming sessions on the role and future of civil services in this rapidly changing scenario in the globalized environment. A total of 19 officers belonging to different Central & All India Services participated in the workshop.

The keynote address was delivered by IGNFA Director, Sh. R.K. Goel and Technical Sessions on various themes of workshop was conducted by the eminent resource persons as given below:
