The Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy has conducted the Mid Career Training (MCT) Programme Phase V – 13th for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officers in the seniority of 26-28 years from 27th September 2015 to 22nd October 2015. In that IFS Officers of 1987 and 1988 batch participated. The Programme is a four week journey in 3 different modules to facilitate collective learning and reflections in an academic ambience within and outside country with the objective of equipping IFS services to function effectively in the changing global scenario.
The Module I was conducted at IIM Bangalore with a focus on Management inputs
The Module II was conducted with the objective of International Exposure and Global Policy Perspectives at Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University at USA and at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
The Module III on Reflections and Way Forward was held at IGNFA, Dehradun
The participants submitted Exposure Visit Paper and gave the Group Presentations as part of the training programme.
Overall 71 participants attended and successfully completed the Programme.
